Character Education

Character Education:

  • Emphasizes social and emotional learning
  • Teaches lessons to the whole child…to the heart and the head!
  • Should be 50% of what is taught in the classroom

Character Education is just as important to education as reading, science, and math. It’s about teaching children to identify and cultivate their own strengths.

Character defines how we live, the decisions we make and the words we use.  It’s how we view ourselves and how other’s view us.  And it’s what guides us on life’s journey.

Simply, our character makes up our personality and our personalities can be powerful!

Talent is a gift, but living with character is a choice.

Our Goal For Our Readers:

1. Connect to the cards and develop literacy skills.

2. Connect to themselves and build self-esteem and confidence.

3. Connect to others and appreciate the positive qualities in the people around them.
